I have been so Bothered~~~~

There are days when our hearts can feel so heavy because of the world we live in….the people that surround us….where we live..in the work place..simply in the limits of our communities.

Dear Readers, we have nothing that God has not provided for us.  Without His hand in the matter the oceans would not stay in their limits….isn’t that something!!!! Just to think that He created all and watches over all and loves you and me as though we were/are the only people who have ever lived.

Franklin Graham wrote such a striking set of thoughts when Mr. Stephen Hawking died.  Franklin would like to have asked him where he determined that his brain had come from. In my devotions tonight I read that passage of Nehemiah, found in the 9th chapter, verse 6.  Here it is for you.

“You alone are the Lord; You have made heaven, The heaven of heavens, with all their host, the earth and everything on it, the seas and all that is in them, and You preserve them all. The host of heaven worships You.”

No.  We are not able to say, “There is no God.  No one created the Universe and no one directs our fate.”  Neither can we say, “No one can tell us why we are here and when we die, it is simply ‘poof’ and we are gone.” Sad.  Sad.  Sad!

We say as the Psalmist wrote hundreds of years ago, The fool says there is no God (Psa. 14:1).

Oh yes, dear one,  David wrote in Psalm 25, “Show me Your ways O Lord; Teach me Your paths, lead me in Your truth and teach me, for You are the God of my salvation; On You I wait all the day.”

Psa. 31:14-15 read, But as for me, I trust in You, O Lord; I say, ‘You are my God.’ My times are in Your hand….

“Magnify the Lord with me and let us exalt His name together” (Psa. 34:3).

P.S.  Often I speak of my Loren – – feeling his presence around me from time to time.  I do tonight, too.  This is what I heard him say in years past and now tonight, I hear him say it again.  “Darling, you have to believe the Bible in order to say what you have just said and in this case ~~~~ what I have just written.”  Loren, in the brilliance of life hit the nail right on the head.  Believe me, without God there is no life….there is no Eternal Life!!

“The hearing ear and the seeing eye, the Lord has made them both” (Prov. 20:12.)
