Depleted!!??!!

I didn’t get to do much cooking for any one this past holiday season, though I did have some recipes worth printing – – worth your time to try.  Crock pot ones – those are the ones I really do enjoy doing.  Can’t really fail with them.

Both of these I got off the computer. Enjoyed them, though I cut the recipes WAAAAAY down of course.

These should jump-start your New Year in your kitchen.

 

CHEESY TATER TOTS

32 oz. frozen Tater Tots, 2 c. shredded Colby Jack Cheese, 15 oz. Cream of Chicken Soup, SnP to taste.

Spray the CP bottom and sides really good. Dump in the Tater Tots and cover with soup and SnP.  Cook on high until the soup bubbles, then layer evenly with the cheese. Cover again.  Continue cooking until the cheese is melted.  Don’t be stingy with the cheese, you will want to use more than the 2 cups.

 

MACARONI n CHEESE (CP Style)

3 c. shredded cheese, 12 oz. can evaporated milk, 8 oz. cream cheese, cubed, 2-1/2 c. milk, 16 oz. macaroni, uncooked.

(Sort’ve put the ingredients in their separate “pile” in the CP.  Stirring comes later)

Put all in the CP on low for 3 hours.  Beginning with the 2nd hour, stir slowly, gently.

 

CUBE STEAK n GRAVY

2 cans cream mushroom soup, 1 envelope onion soup mix, dry, 3/4 c. water, cube steaks.

Put all in the CP and cook all day, Serve over rice.  (Nicer than mashed potatoes).

Did you know~~~~ When cooking macaroni or spaghetti in the CP be sure you do not pre-cook it.  Also~~~~do not leave it in the CP for a long length of cooking time because it/they will become mush.

Did you know~~~~ That Walmart now has Pot-Perfect Thin Spaghetti. No longer have to break the Spaghetti.  It is “half-length pasta”.  It is 6″ long and so easy to use.
